2° edition of the LAO Cilaos Music Festival

On November 30th, December 1st and 2nd, it will be the second edition of the LAO Cilaos Music Festival!

After their convincing first edition in December 2011, Jean-Max Figuin launches again the music machine of this great party with Creole accents. This time the organizers chose famous creole singer Danyel Waro for patron. The heart of Cilaos will beat to the rhythm of Maloya and Sega from Reunion, but notes of jazz, hip hop, folk, blues and African rhythms by groups from Madagascar, Mayotte and the Ivory Coast will also resonate around the ramparts.
Cilaos, the turntable of mountain activities in Reunion and a top tourist destination, will then also host artists and festival-goers in its network of accommodation: hostels, guest houses and bed and breakfast but also a free camping site available only 5 minutes from the scenes. At the heart of the city, free day concerts and at night shows at low prices on three stages will allow you all to experience exotic music in an exceptional setting. As for tradition, do not miss the “kabar”! On Saturday afternoon, a large free jam session will gather Danyel Waro, Ziskakan, Yaelle Trulès, Tiloun, Gautier ... and other artists from Cilaos to share music and good humor around the Mare à Joncs.
