GITE CHEZ GIGI - Gite and table d'hotes at ilet à Malheur, Mafate
At an altitude of 2800 ft, Ilet à Malheur is between Aurère and Grand Place in Mafate. This is where Gilette Libelle await you in her stopover gite Chez Gigi, with a total capacity of 12 people who can also taste Gilette’s delicious carris in the evening at the dinner table.
Accommodation in the house
The cottage consists of:
• double bedrooms (+ 1 bunk bed)
• dorm for 2 people
• Possibility of a cot on request
• Bathroom with shower (hot water), basin
• WC
Sheets, pillows, and blankets are provided. Do not forget your towel and soap!
Camping in Mafate
You will have the opportunity to pitch your own tent in the garden (maximum 3 tents), or, to prevent you from carrying your tent on your back, to rent 2 person tents with a mattress, sheets, a blanket and pillows.
Meals
on reservation only
In the morning, breakfast includes hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate), bread, butter and jam. On request, Gigi can cook up a riz chauffé (heated rice)!
For lunch, Gigi can make you a carri or a rougail.
In the evening, Gilette serves her guests a Creole meal around the dinner table.
