For your meals, Tonton and his family will be happy to cook in front of you, or with you, over a wood fire!
Around the large table built in river rocks by the Payet father and son, or in the other areas rearranged to suit the sanitary measures, everyone gathers for a joyful evening.

On the terrace, homemade sofas await guests who can chill out with drinks and enjoy the magnificent view!

Nearby:
The river of Bras de la Plaine is only 100 m, where you can cool off and have a swim.
From the gite, good walkers can reach the hamlet of Grand Bassin, or the village of Bois Court or, closer, the historical water catchment of Bras de la Plaine...

Please note: parking is available at the trailhead at Pont d'Yves.

Menu samples:
• Aperitif: samossas and home-made punch
• Main course: 2 different all-you-can-eat curries (our specialty of chicken curry and another curry according to the season), cooked over a wood fire, are offered, with rice, beans & rougail
• Dessert: fruit salad
• Home made rhum

No alarm-clock will awake late-risers in our gite, and you can sleep all you want!
Breakfast is included in the half-board prices (served from 7 am).
A traditional "riz chauffé" (heated rice) is served on the next morning, for breakfast or after a good swim!

To access the gite: get to Pont d'Yves, and take the trail of Petite Ravine (follow the signs planted in trees) over 3 km, which should take you from 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
The most courageous hikers can take a longer and sportier route (ask Simon!).

Helicopter transfer is possible.

No time of arrival and departure of the gite.
