In Bras Sec, a small village 6 km from Cilaos, staying at Les Mimosas will give you the opportunity to enjoy the sweetness of life in the Reunionese mountains and the freshness of altitude in a simple and authentic atmosphere.

The proximity of the surrounding mountains gives rise to many hiking trails, including climbing the famous Piton des Neiges, the highest peak of Reunion Island, the Calumets Trail or the Kerveguen hill.

At Les Mimosas, the owners raise their own chickens, ducks and rabbits and concoct a traditional and tasty cuisine on a wood fire.
The table d'hotes can welcome 25 guests and offers a meal at 30 € all included.

* Chayote gratin cooked over a wood fire
* Chicken carri or "Rougail saucisses" (sausage carri) with rice, beans and "rougail" (a sort of chutney)
